My time at SEEN Group was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of the beauty and public relations industries. I never imagined I’d have the opportunity to contribute to campaigns for iconic brands like Shiseido, Make Up For Ever, Laura Mercier, and BareMinerals.

A typical day involved working with industry-standard tools such as Muck Rack and Cision to track media coverage, verify the accuracy of product information across press outlets, and monitor editor and consumer sentiment on social media and news platforms. I also supported launch efforts by preparing and sending PR boxes to talent and editors, and collaborated closely with the team to ensure all reporting aligned with our monthly goals.

One of the highlights of my internship was pitching a product placement story for a new Make Up For Ever mascara. My pitch was picked up by Byrdie, resulting in a published article that continues to live on the site today, a rewarding milestone in my professional journey.
